James Nitschke


James Nitschke, Fort Worth Country & Western Pop Performer, invests his time in a productive way.
He performs in Nursing Homes, Convalescent Centers and Rehab Hospitals for elderly and handicapped patients…with an array of country and pop songs.
Nitschke often adds an original touch to hits from the 30’s to the 70’s with popular songs that topped the country and western charts.
With banjo, harmonica and accordion, the talented performer performs “old” songs with an original flare.
His other appearances have included the Johnny High Country Revue; Burleson Jamboree, Cross Timbers Opry and Founders Day Anniversary; Old Time Variety Show; Irving Opry; Mesquite Opry; North Texas Opry in Weatherford; Texas Opry in Joshua; Summit Hotel in Dallas; Clarion Hotel in Fort Worth; Peel Country Steakhouse in Waxahachie; Reata Restaurant in Fort Worth; and private shows in Branson – and many other concerts throughout the Metroplex. In addition, Nitschke was recently the “featured entertainer” at the Blue Mound Opry in Luverne Minnesota.
Some of the old songs James Nitschke sings are “Back in the Saddle Again”, “Goofus”, “Sioux City Sue”, “Singin’ the Blues”, “Waltz Across Texas”, “Have I Told You Lately?”, “Four Walls”, “Cattle Call”, “San Antonio Rose”, “Boots and Saddles”, “Good Night Irene” and many more.
