Carmon is a native of Fort Worth, where he was raised with one brother and one sister. He currently earns his living as a commercial plumber. He has one daughter and two grandchildren.
A member of the Westside Victory Church, Carmon serves on the Pastor’s Committee, and performs in their music ministry.
With 34 Copyright written songs, Carmon is currently under contract with Hilltop Records. His single, "I Call Upon the Lord", was released on a CD titled "In the Beginning" in October 2005.
